What I actually handle
A great dance floor starts way before the first dance song.
You shouldn’t be checking the timeline during dinner or wondering who’s announcing the cake cutting. I take care of the ceremony sound, introductions, toasts, music and the little transitions in between. You get to be at your wedding. I’ll keep an eye on what’s next.
Personalized music
Give me the songs you love, the ones you never want to hear and a sense of what you and your guests are into. I’ll build from there and adjust as the night happens.
Professional emceeing
I make the announcements that need to be made, keep them short and make sure people know what’s happening without turning the night into a show about the DJ.
Live mixing
I mix live and change direction based on what people are actually responding to. If something is working, I stay with it. If it isn’t, I move.
Ceremony sound
I cover the ceremony too, including wireless microphones so your vows, officiant and readings can actually be heard.
Reception sound + lighting
Good sound and dance-floor lighting are part of the setup. You won’t need to piece together a bunch of separate vendors just to make the reception work.
Planning support
We go through the music, names, formalities and timeline ahead of time so there are fewer questions on the wedding day.
Watch the vibe
See what the night actually feels like.
A quick look at the energy, the room and the dance floor at a real Dan Hardee Entertainment wedding.
The microphone matters too
You should remember your wedding. Not your DJ talking all night.
I’ll make the introductions, cue the important moments and work with your planner, photographer and venue to keep things moving. Then I’ll get off the microphone and let the night be yours.
- Introductions that sound natural and fit the room
- Clean transitions between formalities
- Coordination with your planner, photographer, venue and catering team
- Music that can move across generations without feeling random
- Fast communication before the wedding so you know where things stand
How we get ready
We get the details figured out before the wedding.
Start with your taste
We talk about what you love, the boundaries you want respected, the age mix of your guests and what you want the night to feel like.
Build the plan
We map ceremony music, introductions, special dances, toasts, dinner and the transition into the party.
Read the room
Once the reception starts, the plan matters, but the actual people in the room matter too.
A few things couples usually want to know
Before you book, here’s how I work.
Can we give you must-play and do-not-play songs?
Absolutely. Those lists help define the boundaries of the night. I use them with your overall taste and the reaction in the room so the music feels personal without becoming a rigid playlist.
Do you take requests from guests?
Yes. A request is one more signal about what the room wants. I weigh it against your preferences, the energy in the moment and the direction you gave me.
Do you actually mix live?
Yes. I actively mix and adjust throughout the dance portion of the reception, using the energy in the room to shape where the music goes next.
How much do you talk on the microphone?
I use the microphone with purpose: introductions, formalities, important transitions and useful direction. The goal is confident hosting while your celebration stays front and center.
Can you handle the ceremony too?
Yes. Ceremony sound and wireless microphones are included, so your vows, readings and officiant are clear through one coordinated setup.
Planning a Denver wedding?
Send me your date and venue.
I’ll let you know if I’m available and we can go from there. No long sales pitch.
